Giuseppe Uncini (Fabriano, 31 gennaio 1929 – Trevi, 31 marzo 2008) è stato uno scultore e pittore italiano, celebre per le sue opere in ferro e cemento. Nel 1958 realizza il "Primocementoarmato", una tavoletta di cemento grezzo rinforzato da rete e ferri, e proseguendo nell'anno successivo nella sperimentazione con questo materiale. Nel 1962 costituisce con Gastone Biggi, Nicola Carrino, Nato Frascà, Achille Pace e Pasquale Santoro il Gruppo Uno per una valorizzazione del ruolo sociale nell'arte. Inizia la serie dei "ferrocementi" e quella delle "strutturaespazio". Nel 1962 è fra i vincitori del Premio Spoleto; agli artisti prescelti fu dedicato un saggio corredato dalla riproduzione in grande formato (bianco e nero e quadricromie) delle opere esposte. L'ultima opera realizzata da Giuseppe Uncini è "Epistylium" (2007 – 2009), una scultura in calcestruzzo armato alta oltre sei metri, e realizzata per uno spazio espositivo all'aperto del Mart di Rovereto. Giuseppe Uncini muore nella notte tra il 30 e il 31 marzo 2008 nella sua casa di Trevi (Perugia).

Giuseppe Uncini (Fabriano, January 31, 1929 - Trevi, March 31, 2008) was an Italian sculptor and painter, famous for his works in iron and concrete. In 1958 he creates the "Primocementoarmato", a tablet of raw concrete reinforced by mesh and iron, and continuing the following year in experimentation with this material. In 1962, together with Gastone Biggi, Nicola Carrino, Nato Frascà, Achille Pace and Pasquale Santoro, he founded Gruppo Uno, which aimed to enhance the social role of art. It begins the series of the "ferrocementi" and that one of the "strutturaespazio". In 1962 he was among the winners of the Spoleto Prize, the artists chosen was dedicated an essay accompanied by the reproduction in large format (black and white and four-color) of the works on display. The last work realized by Giuseppe Uncini is "Epistylium" (2007 - 2009), a reinforced concrete sculpture more than six meters high, and made for an outdoor exhibition space at Mart in Rovereto. Giuseppe Uncini dies in the night between 30 and 31 March 2008 in his house in Trevi (Perugia).
